VILLAWOOD Properties and ISPT residential estate Alamanda has won the 2010 Urban Development Institute of Australia ‘Residential Development’ award.
The 1500-lot Alamanda community is located in the heart of Point Cook, 20 kilometres west of Melbourne.
The project has already won Victoria’s best residential development in December last year.
Alamanda is also one of Victoria’s first master-planned residential communities to comply with the Federal Government’s National Broadband Network initiative and address the issue of broadband internet access for Point Cook residents.
Villawood executive director Rory Costelloe said the foresight has proven a success in more ways than one.
“It has been our goal to bring first class amenity to the buyers and residents of Alamanda as soon as possible which has been a huge boon for the people that are already living there and those looking to purchase.
“Following state-wide acclaim, the national award is further reinforcement of our vision to up the ante on residential development while ensuring our project prices remain in reach of all buyer profiles,” Costelloe said.
