BRISBANE’S Black & White Cabs has purchased its old headquarters for $3.5 million, after a 20-year time away.
The company owned the 5,254 sqm site, between Hutcheson and Nariel Streets in Brisbane, when it was a cooperative for its business operations nearly two decades ago.
It has since relocated to Brunswick St Fortitude Valley and then Brisbane Airport.
Colliers International agents Anthony White and Brodie Ross negotiated the sale on behalf of the long-term owners of the property after an auction campaign in March.
Black & White Cabs owns a property opposite the newly purchased site, bringing its total area ownership in the precinct to 7,314 sqm.
Its corporate headquarters and call centre will be housed at the sites, as well as other businesses associated with the taxi industry.
