THE All Seasons Port Stephens Salamander Shores hotel in the mid-north coast of New South Wales, 2.5 hours from Sydney, has been listed for sale.
CBRE’s Andrew Jackson and Rob Cross in conjunction with Bruce Gair of PRDnationwide have been appointed to sell the waterfront hotel and restaurant complex, with the campaign closing on Tuesday November 20, 2012.
The 3 acre site with eastern views across Salamander Bay and through the Port Stephens has a development approval for a mixed use residential and hotel precinct.
Jackson said the 91-room hotel would attract strong hotelier as well as developer interest given its enviable location and the size of the freehold landholding.
Cross said experienced developers would recognise the value in terms of cost, time and energy that the substantial development approval would save.
“The development approval is extensive including 40 residential apartments, 34 serviced apartments, 84 hotel rooms, 275 car spaces and a number of amenities including a restaurant, a bar, retail and cafe spaces that would make the Salamander Shores mixed use site a landmark in Port Stephens.
“On the back of the excellent investor response we received the Peppers Anchorage in Port Stephens, we expect strong investor demand for the All Seasons Port Stephens Salamander Shores given its sizeable freehold landholding, incredible views across Port Stephens bay, and development approvals.” Cross added.
Meanwhile the sale of the Peppers Anchorage in Port Stephens is believed to be close to a deal, although CBRE Hotels declined to comment.
