THE newest retail precinct at Australand's 357 Collins St is fully leased.
The new retail laneway linking Collins St to Flinders Lane is a key feature of the new 357 Collins St redevelopment.
Australand retail general manager Peri Macdonald said the new retailers have been secured on leases of either five or 10 years with rents achieved in line with the group’s initial forecasts.
“We are pleased to have secured commitments for the entire retail component ahead of practical completion and look forward to bringing a vibrant new retail offer to workers, residents and visitors to Melbourne CBD,” Macdonald said.
The retail component has been leased to 15 tenancies covering approximately 1,760 sqm, the tenants include Italian restaurant chain Vapiano occupying 800 sqm; shirt retailer Thomas Pink; hamburger restaurant huxtaburger; Vietnamese restaurant Roll’d; Asian food specialist O’Bento; Sandwich retailers Nashi; another sandwich retailer Basic Bites; and Thai restaurant Rock the Wok.
Meanwhile the commercial office component is approximately 70% leased with negotiations progressing for the balance.
