A new $30 million shopping centre is set to transform Muswellbrook into a modern shopping destination for the Upper Hunter.
Muswellbrook Fair is situated between Rutherford Road and Woollybutt Way in the growth corridor of South Muswellbrook.
It will provide 8,750 sqm of convenience retail and bulky goods shopping, serviced by 270 car-parking spaces on the same level for walk-in walk-out convenience.
The modern centre has been designed by Giles Tribe Architects of Sydney and is scheduled for completion by November.
Already major retailers Harvey Norman, BiLo and Best & Less have signed up, as well as a large national pharmacy, butcher, fast food and a liquor outlet.
“Anything happening in Muswellbrook is happening in this precinct,” Seatune Services’ project manager Peter Dulson said.
“This centre will replace a smaller centre and become the principal shopping destination for Muswellbrook and the surrounding towns,” he added.
John Flood & Co Estate Agents has been appointed joint marketing agents and has reported strong interest.
“We have already fielded substantial inquiry from a diverse range of prospective national and local tenants wishing to be part of this exciting addition to the city,” John Flood & Co agent Sandy Warburton said.
Seatune Services is an active developer in the Upper Hunter, recently expanding and revamping the ‘Scone Village–Coles’ shopping centre.
