THE most affordable homes within Mirvac’s Woodlea master planned community, in the western Melbourne fringe suburb of Rockbank, have been released.
Designed by DKO Architecture and delivered by Mirvac, “The Urbanist Collection” will feature 11 two- and three-bedroom move in ready homes starting from $339,000.
According to ABS Housing Finance Data for July 2019, the average first home buyer loan size in Australia was $366,776. First home buyers accounted for 18% of the market, up 2% year on year.
Within the 711 hectare community, the townhouses will be 100 metres from a future local town centre site.
“It’s unheard of to be able to buy an architecturally designed townhouse that is turnkey ready for under $350,000 so it was important for us to offer a product that catered to the first home buyer market and the loan size in which they can borrow,” Woodlea project director, Matthew Dean said.
