Lincoln Place’s new land lease community in Townsville has been given the green light.
The project, dubbed the Northern Beaches Lifestyle Estate, will deliver 350 homes in the suburb of Mt. Low. It is approximately 20km from Townsville CBD.
Located along Svensson Road, the over-50s community will include a clubhouse featuring a library, theatre, dining, kitchen, bar, lounge and outdoor dining and BBQ area, gym, two swimming pools, bowling green, pickleball courts and walking paths.
Other amenities include a sports pavilion, golf driving nets, community garden, RV storage and wellness studio.
Northern Beaches Lifestyle Estate is nearby Maiden Group’s Sanctum community and is 7km from Deeragun Village shopping centre.
“The Northern Beaches Lifestyle Estate is the first land lease community of its kind in Townsville and represents a multi-million-dollar investment in the region that will deliver 350 freestanding homes and lifestyle facilities for the local over 50s market,” said Paul Yeo, CEO at Lincoln Place.
Early works on the site is expected to start in mid-2025, with hopes to welcome residents in March 2026.
Lincoln Place lodged an application to the Townsville City Council in September 2024.
The developer currently has 21 land lease communities across Australia.
