CAFE operator Kenny’s Bakery has signed a long term lease at 446 Collins St in Melbourne's CBD, to open its eighth store.
The CBRE retail services team of Zelman Ainsworth and Max Cookes in conjunction with Allard and Shelton’s Pat Barnes and Mark Seater negotiated the seven-year lease deal over 98 sqm of space.
Ainsworth said CBRE has been working with Kenny’s Bakery over the past two years to find a suitable retail location on Collins St.
“The well established café operator was quick to secure 446 Collins St as it is ideally located in very close proximity to major office towers and positioned only one building in from the corner of William St,” Ainsworth said.
Allard and Shelton’s Pat Barnes said the tenant’s established and successful track record in the Melbourne CBD had been a drawcard for the landlord, who was confident that Kenny’s popular lunch time menu would complement those offered by existing hospitality operators within the building.
