GLOBAL cosmetics retailer Sephora will open its fifth Australia store at Mirvac and Perron Group’s Broadway Sydney redevelopment.
The new store will be 400 sqm. Sephora Australia country manager Libby Amelia said the beauty giant is excited to be a part of the new Level 2 redevelopment at Broadway Sydney.
“Broadway is such an iconic centre in Sydney and with the redevelopment of Level 2, Sephora are excited to join the thriving retail offering.
“After such great success with our first two NSW stores, it just made sense to continue the growth locally and we can’t wait to share this journey with our SEPHORA beauty enthusiasts,” she added.
The Broadway Sydney store will be Sephora’s third in New South Wales, after opening in Sydney’s iconic Pitt St mall in December 2014 and in Macquarie Centre. The retailer has also opened stores in Melbourne Central and most recently, the newly re-developed Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast.
Sephora is the latest international brand to join Level 2 redevelopment along with Swedish fast fashion chain H&M and Calvin Klein Underwear, with further announcements over the coming weeks.
“We are thrilled to have Sephora join our impressive line-up of global retailers making their way to Broadway’s new Level 2,” Mirvac’s senior development manager – retail, Christina Nelson said.
“Our strategy has been to secure the biggest and the best retailers in both the local and international markets and the anticipation ahead of our grand opening later this year is almost at bursting point!” Nelson concluded.
