THE federal government has renewed its tenancy within the Garden Office Park in Perth’s Osborne Park.
The government has signed a new long-term lease over the entire Building D located at 355 Scarborough Beach Rd Osborne Park.
The 5,000 sqm transaction is one of the largest leasing deal in Perth this year.
Knight Frank’s Greg McAlpine said the successful leasing transaction demonstrated that the lessor, a related entity of RG Property, was willing to meet the challenging leasing environment with extremely competitive transactions.
“The Commonwealth government transaction shows a real vote of confidence in the Garden Office Park and everything it brings to employees and visitors.
“Tenant turnover within the Garden Office Park is extremely low and there are only a few remaining areas available for lease across all buildings,” McAlpine said.
The Garden Office Park comprises five separate buildings providing approximately 17,000 sqm of A-grade office accommodation.
McAlpine said other tenants within the park include Brightwater, Ford, Competitive Foods, Samsung and Medibank.
