COWORKING space operator Hub Australia has struck a partnership with Charter Hall at the property funds manager’s $1.5 billion 555 Collins Street development.
The partnership was mentioned by Charter Hall this week as it announced it had secured the signature of Ericsson for 3,350 sqm of space at the project, which will see the global tech firm join Amazon, Aware Super, Allianz Australia, and Connective at the tower, which reached practical completion in June and is set to welcome tenants from October.
Now over 70% pre-committed, only the top five sky-rise floors of the building remain available.
Within the building, Hub Australia will open a new site called 555 Collins Exchange by Hub, while also delivering its Hub Building Hospitality service to manage building amenity across three levels including a business centre, boardrooms, meeting rooms, and project space.
Hub will also provide all tenant customers with a concierge service, as well as manage a large customisable function space and a wellness centre.
Hub announced last month that it is expanding into the Western Australian market, with the opening of a venue at Nine The Esplanade in Perth.
Findings from Rubberdesk’s Q2 Flexible Office Space Report show rates remained unchanged nationally in the June quarter at $650 per desk in the face of increases in office supply and sublease availability.
