ICM Bluebird Canadian Self Storage has bought two Class-A self-storage facilities.
The Calgary-based company bought a 100,000 sq ft facility in Whitby, Ont., comprising nearly 900 lockers. The property, which is 65% occupied, has climate-controlled units, high-tech security, recreational vehicle parking and motorcycle storage.
ICM Bluebird also bought a facility in Calgary. The 83,000 sq ft property has 800 lockers and was 60% occupied as of the end of May.
The Calgary deal represents ICM Bluebird’s 10th purchase and third in Calgary, bringing the fund’s gross asset value to over $185m.
