Prime Group bought a self-storage property in Burnaby, B.C., its first such acquisition in the province and second in Canada.
The company acquired the 1,018-unit facility through its Prime Storage Fund III LP. The property has 63 parking spaces and is close to the Trans-Canada Highway. It will operate under the Prime Storage brand.
The deal follows Prime’s purchase of a self-storage facility in the Edmonton suburb of Sherwood Park, Alta.
