Developer ID_Land has cemented its position in Queensland with the acquisition of a 210-hectare site in Rocksberg, which will yield over 3,000 lots valued over $1 billion.
Located within the City of Moreton Bay and part of the Waraba Priority Development Area, the site at Old North Road will increase ID_Land’s footprint within the City of Moreton Bay to 5,000 lots, making it one of the largest land developers in the locality.
The Rocksberg acquisition will also increase ID_Land’s national pipeline to over $4.5 billion and 10,000 lots.
Managing director Matthew Belford said following this acquisition, ID_Land will join the top 10 land developers by future pipeline in Australia.
“We have great confidence in the Queensland market, in particular the south east, with this acquisition giving us a significant pipeline.
“The Rocksberg site was one of the best opportunities that has come to market in many years and we are thrilled that we have been able to secure the site. We plan to create a landmark master planned community that will set a new benchmark and underpin our business in Queensland for over a decade,”
Belford added that the acquisition supports the long-term growth pipeline for the complementary companies that sit within the ID_CORP group alongside ID_Land, including homebuilder SHAPE Homes, land lease community operator Next Living, and fund manager Title Capital.
