SYDNEY-based property investment firm Kanebridge has launched a build-to-rent advisory after receiving significant interest by other developers and financiers seeking its advice.
Kanebridge managing director Marwan Rahme said Kanebridge Build to Rent Advisory will provide developers with the knowledge to financially engineer and model their build-to-rent projects to help them find funding. For architects,
Kanebridge is offering an initial 1500 BTR apartments across three of its major developments in greater western Sydney.
Matthew Bode, COO and head of property & investments, said the advisory aims to help the build-to-rent sector succeed in Australia.
“Currently, our property sector lacks the knowledge, expertise and experience to grow this type of housing. We have already received lots of interest from industry players, including large property developers in Melbourne and Brisbane, who are seeking our advice to help them get their businesses up and running. Given that we are relatively advanced in this sector and can share our knowledge and experience with others, we saw this opportunity in helping many new entrants in this emerging market sector.” Bode said.
