PUB king Arthur Laundy has continued his regional expansion following the acquisition of the Settlers Tavern in Gosford.
The tavern is part of a convenience retail complex fronting the Central Coast Highway and t comprises a main bar, TAB, gaming room with 20 pokies machine as well as a bistro and terrace bar.
Manenti Quinlan & Associates’s Gerry Quinlan and Thomas Cooper & Co of Newcastle handled the sale, on behalf of the late Phil Bernie and his wife, Marj.
The pub was previously owned by high profile industry personality and former AHA president, Bob Bourne.
Quinlan said the Laundy Group along with their partners have clearly demonstrated their commitment to regional New South Wales.
“We already have established patronage at our other Central Coast hotels, Long Jetty, Chittaway Bay and Bateau Bay,” Laundy said.
“The acquisition of the Settlers Tavern fits perfectly in the jigsaw. The lifestyle enjoyed by residents of the Central Coast is enviable and we see strong growth over the next two decades,” he concluded.
