AR Conolly and Company Lawyers has leased office space in the heritage-listed Young St terraces in Sydney's CBD.
Constructed in 1875, the terraces at 36-38 Young St were designed by Joseph Walker and are the only Sydney CBD buildings that remain from the original site of Government House.
The deal negotiated was by Ray White Commercial office leasing director Jeremy Piggin on behalf of the Historic Houses Trust of NSW.
“To have an offering of this kind in the middle of the Sydney CBD financial precinct attracted considerable interest from a variety of prominent industries.
“Many boutique firms looking for office space in the CBD love that heritage feel and sense of charm,” Piggin said.
The building offers a floor area of approximately 313 sqm and consists of four units, each of three storeys and a basement, interconnected on all floors. AR Conolly and Company Lawyers have taken out a five-year lease at a gross rental of $630 per sqm per annum.
