LENDLEASE has won the bid to deliver Adelaide’s new $100 million CBD high school.
Located on Frome Rd, the school will be the state’s first vertical school, boasting seven floors.
Cox Architecture has partnered with DesignInc, TCL, AECOM and KBR to design the new CBD high school.
The school will open in 2019 with staggered enrolment beginning with Years 8 and 9, and will eventually cater for 1250 students.
“This significant project for Adelaide builds on our infrastructure investment and will create more than 200 new jobs for South Australians,” Premier Jay Weatherill said.
“We are delighted to be selected to extend our capability in the education sector and deliver a contemporary learning environment that will foster innovation and create the future leaders of South Australia,” Lendlease building managing director Dale Connor said.
