SEVEN terraces at Millers Point have sold at auction this week for around $23 million.
Property NSW, on behalf of Family and Community Services, has collected another $22.89 million from the Millers Point sales program, which has delivered over $492 million for investment in new social housing developments in the state.
The most expensive property sold was located at 46-48 Argyle Place, a circa 1826 Colonial Georgian terrace, which fetched $6.3 million.
The other sales include:
- 40 Merriman St – 1 bedroom terrace: $1.60 million
- 42 Merriman St – 1 bedroom terrace: $1.67 million
- 125 Kent St – 4 bedroom terrace: $3.03 million
- 88 Kent St – 4 bedroom terrace: $2.78 million
- 61 Windmill St – 3 bedroom terrace: $2.41 million
- 70-72 High St – block of four apartments, each with 2 bedrooms: $5.10 million
As of October 2017, a total of 707 new social housing dwellings have been completed and 372 dwellings are currently under construction as a result of the Millers Point sales.
The auction of the Stevens Buildings and 74-80 High St next week will mark the close of the 2017 Millers Point sales program.
