A large retail showroom property in Nanaimo has been listed for $11.8m at 4900 Uplands Drive.
The current owner, Dodd’s furniture, also occupies the 38,000 sq ft building on a 2-acre plot of land in the Vancouver Island city.
Colliers has the marketing assignment for the single-storey, class A structure. It was built in 2020.
The campaign says current uses the property is zoned for include micro-breweries, restaurants or auto repair and sale operations.
The building is about 7 kms north of downtown Nanaimo in an area with an elected mix of residential and commercial properties. It offers quick access to the Island Highway. The area is home to several larger commercial developments, including a Thrifty Foods.
Nanaimo is a city of 110,000 people about 110 kms north of Victoria and 60 kms across the Strait of Georgia from Greater Vancouver.
