The off-market deal was brokered by Colliers International director industrial special projects Wayne Chorley.
Pickles will consolidate its Perth operations from several locations across the metropolitan area to the Bibra Lake property on Sudlow Rd.
Chorley said the site presented an ideal opportunity for the auction specialist.
“The size and location of this property made it a great fit for Pickles Auctions, with its proximity to the Fremantle Port and arterial road connections to the Perth CBD a key attraction.
“Bibra Lake is a sought-after industrial precinct in that southern corridor, but has limited land supply – so the chance to secure such a significant site, with hardstand and considerable open space for vehicle storage, was one the company was quick to act on,” he added.
The property comprises office, warehouse and hardstand improvements totalling 59,293 sqm on a total site area of 200,232 sqm.
“The profile of that precinct continues to grow. This significant investment by Pickles Auctions is a watershed moment for Bibra Lake, and marks its coming of age as a viable and sought-after industrial destination for major national companies,” Chorley said.
