A vacant, 111-acre parcel in Prince George, B.C., is being floated for $20m, Green Street News can reveal.
The land, at 1800 Tyner Boulevard, is owned by a group of private investors operating under the name University Mountain Heights. It is on the south side of the city between the University Heights neighbourhood and the University of Northern British Columbia.
Maxsave Real Estate Services has the marketing assignment.
Marketing materials peg the land as ripe for development, with the ability to have up to 500 single-family homes or mixed-use multifamily dwellings constructed on it.
University Mountain Heights is open to a partnership to develop the land.
The site is 6 km from downtown Prince George and 7 km from Prince George International Airport.
Prince George is a city of more than 80,000 residents, about 500 km north of Vancouver.
