Westcliff has bought the largest mall in New Brunswick from Cadillac Fairview.
Champlain Place, in Dieppe, part of the Greater Moncton Area, spans more than 784,000 sq ft and houses 150 stores. Tenants include Bass Pro Shops, Cineplex, H&M, LL Bean, Lululemon, Sport Chek, TD Canada Trust and Walmart. The property is shadow-anchored by Sobeys.
“Champlain Place perfectly aligns with Westcliff’s strategy, marking our commitment to high-caliber assets in key growth markets,” said Nicolas D’Aoust, vice president and head of leasing for Westcliff. He noted that sales at the property are close to $800/sq ft.
Montréal-based Westcliff owns a diverse portfolio exceeding 10m sq ft in Canada and the U.S., including more than 20 retail properties.
