MENSWEAR retailer Gazman has opened a new outlet in Hastings St, a popular tourist strip at Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast.
Gazman has leased retail space at 5/49 Hastings St through Paul Butler and Paul Forrest of Ray White Commercial Noosa.
Gazman is leasing 74 sqm of retail space owned by Brent Ogilvie and Phillip Bacon. The menswear retailer has taken out a 5 x 5 year lease on the property at a rental rate that market sources would estimate to be around $260,000 per annum.
Butler said the retail space was one of the best positions in Hastings St and was available for the first time in more than a decade.
“We had a massive response to an expression of interest campaign. There were 121 enquiries from local, national and international A grade retailers which resulted in a total of nine expressions of interest,” he added.
Forrest said the ‘Noosa on the Beach’ outlet complements Gazman’s other Sunshine Coast store at Noosaville.
