TWO freehold properties in Oakleigh and Braeside in south eastern suburbs of Melbourne have sold for a total of $1,775,000 by agents Crabtrees Real Estate.
Crabtrees agent Matthew Marenko sold the property at 91 Warrigal Rd Oakleigh, approximately 14km south east of the CBD for $1.03 million. The property comprises a 845 sqm business 1 zoned older style industrial building currently let on a monthly basis.
“The purchaser is a private organisation intending to develop the site as a multi level commercial building.
“The well located property is within easy reach of the Oakleigh central activity district and the railway station and also has a rear laneway frontage so it should be ideal for a multi level development,” he added.
The second sale, is a former food manufacturing complex at 16 Mason Drive Braeside, approximately 25km from the CBD, which sold for $725,000.
The industrial 1 zoned property has a building area of 807 sqm on a site area of 1,252 sqm.
Marenko said that the purchaser which trades as Salmemco Foodservice will be relocating from Dandenong and will convert the existing facilities for their use in the manufacture of fried potato based products.
