GLOBAL company, Mitsui & Co. (Australia) Ltd, has leased an entire floor at Investa's 120 Collins St office building in Melbourne's CBD.
Mitsui was advised by Fitzroys director Rob Harrington.
Mitsui has leased the entire level 15, comprising 1,700 sqm of refurbished space, for a five-year term.
“Mitsui has been a tenant at 120 Collins St since 2007 – arriving in a deal also advised by Fitzroys – and has moved to level 15 to accommodate its continued expansion.
“Mitsui’s standing as a significant global organisation warranted a premium grade space, and as one of Melbourne’s premier office buildings, 120 Collins St remained an ideal location,” Harrington said.
120 Collins St is one of Australia’s tallest office structures and comprises a total net lettable area of 64,831 sqm. Major tenants include Standard & Poors, Legg Mason, Investec, Merill Lynch and Rio Tinto.
Harrington said Fitzroys was one of the most active advisors to relocating office tenants in Melbourne.
“Other occupiers we are currently advising on leasing new premises include Drummond St Services (1,000 sqm) and an established IT training organisation (4,000 sqm).” Harrington concluded.
