A CHINESE furniture importer has leased an office and warehouse at Notting Hill in Melbourne’s south-east.
The 14-16 Redwood Drive property comprises a 1,333 sqm building including a 1,163 sqm clearspan warehouse and 170 sqm of office space on a 1,800 sqm site.
Savills’ associate director Daniel Kelly and Lynton Williams negotiated the three-year term with a three-year option lease at $100,000 p.a. net.
Kelly said the tenant, which has an established presence in Sydney, required a Melbourne warehouse.
“The tenant was in the market for a property which ticked all the boxes for a furniture importer and distributor with a focus on ease of transport solutions and with the flexibility to grow the operation. Access to staff was also an important consideration,” Kelly said.
