JOB placement firm Nortec has leased eight centres across South East Queensland after recently winning a five-year contract from the federal government funded Job Active and Small Business Advisory Services program.
Colliers International agents Conor Whiting, Andrew Birkett and Ed Howard negotiated the leases and Mark Stanley from 3D management was the tenant representative.
Colliers negotiated the leases for eight centres, two in Brisbane and six on the Gold Coast, totalling 2,288 sqm of office space for a total rent value of $849,340 p.a.
Howard negotiated the leases on the Gold Coast and said their vast network of office owners in the region enabled them to quickly identify the right tenancies for Nortec.
“We were able to assist Nortec with their requirements in a tight 12 week deadline and obtained a strong result for the owners at the same time.
“Each location needed to meet a particular building size requirement, provide disabled access, parking and meet a certain compliance checklist,” Howard said.
Nortec secured the following leases:
– 220 sqm at Richlands Plaza at 503 Archerfield Rd Richlands,
– 356 sqm at 45 East St Ipswich,
– 480 sqm at 9 Lavelle St Nerang,
– 353 sqm at 54 Brisbane Rd, Biggera Waters,
– 152 sqm at 76-78 Robina Town Centre Drive, Robina,
– 140 sqm at The Hub, 90 Days Rd, Upper Coomera,
– 250 sqm at 1051 Gold Coast Highway, Palm Beach, and
– 337 sqm at Level 9, Southport Central Tower 3, Southport.
Nortec business manager Belinda Hall said the professional support from in securing new office space and ensuring Nortec’s new offices were open by the July 1 deadline, made the whole experience less daunting.
