ICD Property and major listed Thailand developer Supalai are shopping around two landholdings within the 6.23 hectare Gen Fyansford project on the outskirts of Geelong.
In November, the Geelong City Council approved a town centre masterplan for the site allowing the two separate land holdings to be used for a broad range of purposes including retail, restaurant/dining, commercial, mixed-use, residential, green space, and an urban plaza.
The sites include 47 Hyland St and 51-59 Hyland St, and are situated at the Gen Fyansford estate entrance and neighbour the Barwon River, Geelong College, and Queens Park Golf Course.
Benson Zhou of Savills has been appointed marketing agent.
Gen Fyansford is currently home to 450 residents which is expected to grow to 950 residents by the end of 2021. Completion of the entire project is expected in 2024 with a total of circa 1,200 lots.
ICD Property managing director Matt Khoo said the sales campaign signalled the new phase of the rapidly expanding community.
“Since the beginning, we envisioned the town centre within Gen Fyansford becoming an asset that not only brought residents living in Gen Fyansford together but those living in neighbouring suburbs such as Newtown, Hamlyn Heights and Herne Hilly.
“Although Gen Fyansford is within close proximity to Geelong’s city centre, the ability to provide essential doorstep amenities like a supermarket and dining options will only further improve the liveability of everyone in the neighbourhood. We have high hopes for the town centre to serve as a community hub and introduce new commercial success to the area.”
