The penthouse residences at Lendlease’s high-end retirement living community on the former Channel 9 studios site in Melbourne’s Richmond have been released.
With two already sold, this is the last chance retirees have to secure a residence within the precinct on Bendigo Street, named Ardency Kennedy Place in honour of GTV-9 Melbourne legend Graham Kennedy.
Designed by architects Bates Smart, the luxury two and three-bedroom penthouses feature high-quality fixtures and finishes, with well-proportioned living spaces, ample natural light, and natural stone finishes, European timber flooring, ample storage, with some also including a built-in fireplace.
Penthouse residences are priced from $1.55 million to $3.38 million, and the interiors range in size from 104 to 229 sqm, each with a spacious terrace and two car spaces.
The penthouses are located on the top floors and offer sweeping views of the city or the Dandenong Ranges. The largest three-bedroom penthouse boasts dual aspect views with a 229 sqm interior floor plan that can accommodate a 12-seat dining table and a grand piano.
Purchasers can meet with a Bates Smart architect for a personalised walk-through of the design of their residence, and will be offered a complimentary design consultation with furniture retailer Coco Republic for ideas on how to furnish and style their new home.
Ardency Kennedy Place also has a range of other two and three-bedroom apartments available priced from $1 million.
Ardency Kennedy Place features an onsite café and provedore, as well as a wellness centre that features a pool, gym and yoga studio. Residents will be close to the restaurants, cafés and boutiques of Swan Street.
Structural completion was achieved in August and it is expected for completion in early 2023.
The precinct is targeting a 6 Star Green Star Communities rating from the Green Building Council of Australia.
“Our penthouses are the last chance for retirees seeking the ultimate luxury residence in retirement community in Melbourne. This vibrant Richmond precinct allows retirees to embrace an urban lifestyle while experiencing the vibrant diversity and connection they can have across generations in this unique location and community,” said Nathan Cockerill, managing director, retirement living, Lendlease.
Elsewhere in the precinct, Lendlease retirement living is also building Gramercy Terraces, comprising 31 three to four level residences with three to four bedrooms.
