STOCKLAND has launched a new residential project in its Marsden Park community in Sydney’s north-west, with its Elara Place development.
Elara Place is located on Glengarrie Road and South Street, around 49km out from the Sydney CBD, will bring an additional 800 homes to the popular Stockland Elara community
“Elara Place has easy access to transport links, shops, and schools, with more proposed facilities expected in the future,” said Ed Krushka, general manager of master planned communities NSW and ACT at Stockland.
The development will boast easy access to transport links and amenity in the adjacent Elara community, including an inclusive water-themed playground, a dog park and 40-hectares of green open space.
“Residents can embrace Elara’s active, outdoor lifestyle with around seven kilometres of walking and cycling paths, a three-hectare lake, local parks, and large open playing fields,” added Krushka.
Elara Place will also be within close proximity to the future Marsden Park Strategic Town Centre, which is currently in the planning stage by Blacktown City Council in collaboration with the NSW Government.
With construction also set to commence on the Elara Northern Playing Fields and childcare centre this year.
A recent open day for the project saw strong levels of interest from first homebuyers, families, upgraders, and downsizers.
“For more than 70 years, we have helped more Australians achieve the dream of home ownership and we are committed to providing options to people seeking more affordable homes, including first homebuyers, young families, upgraders, and downsizers,” added Krushka.
The first land release for Elara Place launched last week on 27 January, with lots ranging from 250sqm to 300sqm and prices ranging from $575,000 to $705,0001.
With construction on the first homes expected commence in the second half of 2024.
Stockland closed out 2023 with a $1.3 billion deal with Lendlease, which will see Stockland partner up with Thai investor Supalai Pcl and take control of 12 masterplanned communities across the country.
