A TWO-storey retail property at Ascot Vale in Melbourne’s inner north-west has sold for $960,000 to an owner occupier.
The property at 153 Union Rd Ascot Vale, was sold by Fitzroys within 30 days of being appointed.
Fitzroys agents Dean Alexander and Mark Talbot sold the property on behalf of a family that had owned it for in excess of 40 years.
The two-level freehold has a floor area of 147sqm and was sold with vacant possession and potential to be separated into two tenancies.
Alexander said the new owners have plans to extensively renovate and improve the
property.
“During the marketing period we received overwhelming enquiry from both investors and owner occupiers keen to secure a two-storey freehold building in the sub-$1 million price range in a clearly emerging retail strip,” Talbot said.
