GOODMAN Australia Industrial Fund has bought Blackrock Property Trust's industrial portfolio for $115.2 million.
The portfolio comprises seven industrial properties in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and ACT, including:
· 41–45 Hydrive Close, Dandenong, VIC
· 76–90 Link Dve, Campbellfield, VIC
· 87 Chifley Dve, Preston, VIC
· 60 Holbeche Rd, Arndell Park, NSW
· Perry Park industrial estate, 31–33 Maddox St, Alexandria, NSW
· Northlands industrial estate, 50 Raubers Rd, Banyo, QLD
· 34–42 Sheppard St, Hume, ACT
The most significant asset in the portfolio is the Perry Park industrial estate, which comprises 31,000 sqm of lettable area across 4.2ha of land.
“We are pleased to acquire a high quality portfolio of well-located assets in GAIF’s key geographical markets of Sydney and Melbourne. The portfolio provides a number of active asset management opportunities that will enhance value for our unitholders over the short and medium term,” GAIF chairman Greg Goodman.
The acquisition will be funded from existing debt facilities and settlement is scheduled for 17 September 2012.
