CHINESE company Fucheng Group has purchased the remaining parcel of the Baillieu family’s Woodhouse Station in Melbourne’s outer-west for around $100 million.
The 4,953-hectare grazing and cropping property on Ballan Road in Melton was put on the market two years ago by vendor Woodhouse Pastoral Company.
Fucheng Group is owned by agribusiness billionaire Li Fucheng. It purchased the 31,000-hectare Woodlands cattle-fattening property, near Westmar in southern Queensland, for $28 million from UK-based M.P. Evans Group in September last year.
