THE Commons retail and commercial precinct in northern New South Wales’ Casuarina is beginning to take shape, with six operators signing long-term leases in the centre.
Due for completion in February, the centre is being developed by Bruce Coulson, and is located between Casuarina Way and Grande Parade, opposite a Coles supermarket and future residential precinct.
It will comprise 12 food, medical, health and general retail services tenants, and a childcare centre with 175 places.
Colliers International’s Kelly Buxton and Luke McGrath leased six tenancies, with sizes ranging from 40 sqm to 227 sqm, lease terms from five to 10 years and rents from $450 per sqm to $725 per sqm.
The businesses that have taken up space include licensed café and coffee roaster Blackboard Coffee; smokehouse and bar The Crafty Cow; women’s and kids fashion retailer Nikkou; a child psychologist and speech therapist; a chiropractor; and training studio F45.
Remaining tenancies range from 41 sqm to 147 sqm and are suited to fast food operators, general retail, real estate agency, medical centre, dentist or another health practitioner.
