Crombie REIT has hired Justin Hawkins to fill the new national role of vice president of development, Green Street News can reveal.
Hawkins joined New Glasgow, N.S.-based Crombie on Nov. 25 and will lead the REIT’s development strategy, overseeing growth initiatives and development activities, including land use intensification, redevelopments, major projects and partnerships.
Hawkins is based in Crombie’s Mississauga office, and he will travel to projects and teams across the country. He reports to Victor Settino, executive vice president of development and construction.
Hawkins previously worked at Dream in Toronto, where he was development director, and before that, he was senior director of development at Forest Gate Group, also in Toronto.
