THE Curraweena farming site in Clermont has sold under the hammer for $6.1 million, after competition from seven bidders at auction.
The Isaac Region property covers 2,699 hectares and is almost entirely cultivation, with a mix of soft black/chocolate basalt soils.
Improvements include two homesteads, machinery shed, workshops and four bores. It also has an airstrip.
Brock Palmer of Emerald Land and Cattle Company sold the property on behalf of Marianne Elliot and Peter Donovan, to local buyers Bradley and Sarah Mifsud.
