DENWOL Group has rebranded the 8 Street dining precinct in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast, as part of its plans to establish an Asian street food-style hub.
Located at Cavill Lane, 3113 Surfers Paradise Boulevard, Chop Chop will offer 28 operators serving Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indian and other cuisines.
While the official launch is some weeks away, 11 operators have started trading from the precinct. They include Sharetea, Ramen Danbo, Touch of India, Yum Cha Noodle Haus, Sushi Ave, Rice Vs Noodle, Korean Kitchen, and more recent entrants Hotcakes House, Fruit Bank, Bali in Paradise and Ace Thai.
The Sky Restaurant, which has a yum cha menu, also has an offering at Chop Chop, and Dumpling Ma Ma will open next week.
Diversified property group Denwol flagged initial plans for the overhaul of the precinct last year and has taken over management of the 2,200 sqm site.
