Heritage Pacific has started construction on its $250 million Genesis masterplanned community in Coomera, after receiving an approval from the Gold Coast City Council.
Construction on the first 50 homes will start this week.
Heritage Pacific managing director Paul Barrett said the company was expecting a flurry of activity over the next month as new owners push ahead with building their dream homes.
Total sales at Genesis have now topped more than $10 million.
On completion Genesis will incorporate more than 700 homes in a 76 hectare site on the eastern side of the M1 (Pacific Motorway), 35 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and 20 minutes from Surfers Paradise.
“Numerous eco-sensitive and innovative initiatives have been incorporated in the ground at Genesis and we are actively encouraging all residents and partner builders to embrace these unique opportunities ensuring their homes are both environmentally responsible and future-proofed, like the broader community will be,” he added.
As part of the Genesis Preferred Partner Builder program six industry leading companies have been selected consisting of Boss Homes, Jabiru Homes, Chelbrooke, Living Design, Castaway and Heritage Pacific.
“All of the partner builders reflect the calibre and professionalism that is synonymous with Heritage Pacific and will create homes that consider the occupants’ current and future needs, the environment and our alfresco way of life.
“Although the partner program will focus on providing completed homes, it will also provide future residents with the flexibility to package as well as work with the preferred partner builders on their own design ideas.
“People are also welcome to work with their own builders; the program is all about providing solutions to what can sometimes be a stressful process,” Barrett said.
Since opening to the public, the home has attracted more than 4,000 visitors and includes high-tech features that demonstrate how modern living can be smarter, greener, easier and importantly, affordable.
