BOUTIQUE Italian designer retailer Maliparmi is expanding into Melbourne's CBD after securing space at 146 Little Collins St.
The property comprises a ground floor retail area of 50 sqm, which has been leased on a three-year term at circa $2,200 per sqm p.a net.
Savills’ retail director Michael Di Carlo, Jeremy Marmur and Jock Thomson handled the transaction and said the tenant has expanded into the CBD following the success of its existing store in Malvern in Melbourne’s inner east.
The agents said Maliparmi required new premises to showcase its product range.
“Little Collins St is now regarded as prime real estate for fashion and innovative creations which appeal to those looking for somewhat distinctive and diverse fashion products.
“Maliparmi specialises in unique women’s clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories and includes other products from a number of Italian designers from the Veneto region of Italy: Cortese perfume, lighting and cushions by Venetia Studium from Venice and Murano glassware by Nason Moretti are products which should feel very much part of the Little Collins St offering,” Di Carlo said.
