BUILDER Masterton Homes has offered a lifeline to the 300 customers caught up in the collapse of project builder Beechwood Homes.
Masterton Homes has offered to build their houses and waive the deposits customers have already paid Beechwood.
Founding Director Jim Masterton said the customers deposits will be taken off the purchase price of a Masterton home.
Masterton said the company has also spoken to a number of Beechwood’s tradespeople and sub-contractors with a view to trying to re-employ as many of them as possible.
Masterton builds more than 600 houses a year.
