MIRVAC has sold more than $20 million of homesites in their Greenbank Everleigh community in only 12 weeks.
94 lots have been purchased in the master planned community since June, with first home buyers and upgraders the most prominent buyer group.
“Everleigh is extremely popular with drawing first home buyers and upgraders who see the relative affordability of the community and the opportunity to benefit from the future growth of the area, with significant infrastructure and amenity planned to support the expanding population,” said Stuart Penklis, head of residential at Mirvac.
Mirvac puts much of the success of the community up to the affordability and emphasis on green spaces, along with the recent HomeBuilder grant, and an increasing need for multi-functional spaces, as the pandemic has changed the way we work and use our homes.
“There’s a new emphasis on spaces that can be private for work or study and switch back to family-friendly as required, a return to the chef’s kitchen as more people cook at home, rooms for exercise and hobbies, the home office and access to outdoor spaces such as backyards and patios,” he added.
Everleigh is the Greater Flagstone Priority Development Area, 30 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD.
Lots at Everleigh start at $201,000, with completed houses from partnered builders starting at $438,500, with lots ranging from 300sqm to 375sqm.
The sites that will be situated amongst 215 hectares of greenspace, including conservation parkland and sports and recreation sites, and will have access to facilities such as a planned State primary school, a neighbourhood retail centre and community health centre.
“We have focussed on delivering elements that define the community, investing in community engagement programs, parks, playgrounds, open spaces and other resident facilities, so when our residents move in they are part of a connected community from day one,” said Penklis.
Mirvac plans to bring forward three additional releases in response to high demand for the Everleigh community.
