MIRVAC has achieved two milestones at its $454 million The Eastbourne project in East Melbourne, selling the last remaining apartment and topping out. At the same time, it has unveiled a limited collection of homes at Yarra’s Edge.
The Eastbourne is being delivered on the former site of Freemasons Victoria’s historic Dallas Brooks Hall. In addition to 245 apartments, the development will also provide Freemasons Victoria with brand new headquarters.
Mirvac’s CEO Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz said the project’s incredible success was testament to the architectural calibre of the building, designed in collaboration with Bates Smart and the enduring desirability of its tightly-held East Melbourne location.
“The Eastbourne’s ‘topping out’ and recent sell-out are fantastic milestones and testament to the project’s design credentials and sought-after location, which have combined to attract a wide range of astute purchasers to this inner-city Eden,” she added.
Meanwhile Mirvac has launched a limited collection of 11 Wharfside Residences at Yarra’s Edge.
The four-storey riverfront homes vary in size from 332 sqm to 493 sqm and it is geared towards owner-occupiers wanting to downsize.
Mirvac’s general manager residential Victoria, Elysa Anderson said the Wharfside Residences are the next generation in Mirvac’s tradition of delivering quality, luxury homes, in Melbourne’s very best locations.
