First and second home buyers looking for a “tree” change have set their sights on Glasshouse Mountains Estate on the Sunshine Coast.
First and second homebuyers as well as retirees have secured most lots at the new $15.5 million 76-lot estate, with 12 of the 20 lot sales occurring since the opening of the estate’s onsite sales office in late Februare 2006.
Glasshouse Mountains Estate sales agent Imoda Marketing’s Paul Merritt said the majority of sales and inquiry was coming from the estate’s immediate vicinity, with a number being sourced from the greater Sunshine Coast region.
“We’re receiving at least 15 onsite enquiries each week, particularly from the local residents seeking a lifestyle upgrade.
“Many families have come onboard simply because of the joint advantages offered by large lot sizes, price, tranquil natural and parkland surrounds and convenient community infrastructure,” he added.
The Glasshouse Mountains Estate is being developed by Ingles Group, who bought the 36.34ha site in 2004.
“We knew early on that the Glasshouse Mountains region was set to become very popular. With its proximity to the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane CBD’s, it’s an area that offers easy access to every amenity, from beaches to forests and to the city,” Ingles Group founder and managing director Graeme Ingles.
The site is located just moments from the upgraded Bruce Highway, which positions residents an easy 20-minute drive from Caloundra and 50-minutes from Brisbane’s CBD.
The Council’s recent announcement of the upcoming rail connection between Beerwah and Caloundra also ensures easy commuting to both towns.
Lots at Glasshouse Mountains Estate range from 1,966 sqm to 2,631 sqm.
The estate is positioned against scenic green parkland reserve and views of Mt Tibrogargan. The estate is home to a myriad of native flora and fauna, including Eucalypt forests with bushwalking trails, koalas, Eastern-grey kangaroo’s, Rainbow lorikeets and yellow crested cockatoos.
Prices start from just $180,000, offering young families and empty nesters the perfect location to kick-start a relaxed lifestyle without compromise of convenience.
Ingles Group is one of Australia’s largest privately-owned developers of residential, commercial and industrial property, with past and current projects located throughout Queensland, with projects completed and under development worth over $1 billion.
Other current Ingles Group projects include City View in Ipswich, Tea Trees Residential Golf Community and Coomera Parklands on the Gold Coast.
