SEKISUI House is set to launch Lumia Lux, a collection of designer apartments in its $1 billion The Orchards masterplanned community in Norwest.
The launch will include 127 apartments, including 11 one-bedroom, 25 two-bedroom, 17 three-bedroom and three four-bedroom penthouses, located at 20-25 Spurway Drive.
This is the second phase of this development, with the 203-apartment strong first phase, Lumia, launched in March last year.
“The conditions are ripe for a strong 2022 selling season which is why we are launching Lumia Lux next month. With Sydney’s median home price now at a record $1.6 million, apartments have become a clear alternative for many home buyers,” said David Lee, sales manager of developments and communities, for The Orchards at Sekisui House.
This follow’s Sekisui announcement last month that Growthbuilt had commenced its delivery of construction phase of the development.
So far 330 apartments at The Orchards masterplanned community have sold, with its diverse offering of apartment configurations drawing in first home buyers, local downsizers and investors alike.
“Strong rental demand for apartments is bringing property investors back into the market, first home buyers are seeking affordable property options and downsizers are selling their larger homes to release capital for lifestyle purposes,” added Lee.
Lumia Lux is being built amongst large trees, a linear park and waterways, in addition to including sustainable features such as solar panels on rooftops, masonry facades with a large thermal mass that keeps apartments cool in summer and warm in winter and building form and orientation to ensure natural sunlight and ventilation is maximised.
Amenities at the development will include an outdoor infinity edge pool and a pavilion appointed with dining and lounge areas.
Prices at Lumia Lux will start at $650,000 for a 62sqm one-bedroom apartment and will reach more than $2.4 million for a 176sqm penthouse.
Lumia Lux will officially launch to the public on 19 March 2022.
