LUXURY day spa operator Sensu has signed a 280sqm lease over the ground and first floors of Charter Hall’s newly developed 570 Bourke St tower in Melbourne’s CBD.
The 10-year deal was negotiated by JLL’s Mitchell Humphreys at a passing gross rent of more than $600 per sqm. Sensu is Jason Hill’s second day spa concept in the CBD, following Sakura Lounge in Waburton Lane.
“We are pleased to welcome Sensu to 570 Bourke and believe they will provide a great service that will be complementary to the lifestyle features already in place to support a positive work-life balance for tenants and their staff,” Charter Hall’s prime office fund manager Craig Newman said.
Humphreys said retail leasing agents need to look at other forms of amenity in office towers other than food that will give the occupants of the tower pride in the building and easy access to escape their busy lives.
