AN elevated 7.28-hectare land parcel in Melbourne’s outer north-western suburb of Sunbury has sold in an off-market deal for $4.02 million.
The Rural Conservation & Urban Growth-zoned property at 60 Redstone Hill Road is located just off Sunbury Road, just before Sunbury, and is positioned within the Sunbury South Precinct Structure Plan.
The plan has earmarked a 1,798 sqm area for up to 11,800 homes for a population of more than 33,000, and include a new town centre, two employment area, a range of community facilities and a new train station near Jacksons Hill.
It is within the development-intensive region that also takes in the Lancefield Road Precinct Structure Plan, and the Jacksons Hill Master Plan on the former Victoria University campus in Sunbury.
Savills’ Julian Heatherich, Benson Zhou, Mark Stafford, Clinton Baxter, Nick Peden and Jesse Radisich sold the 60 Redstone Hill Road property, with the price tag reflecting $552,000 per hectare.
