Sentry Property Group is looking to offload a waterfront development site in Hamilton, Ont., for $6.8m.
The site, at 1133 Beach Boulevard, sits on a narrow strip of land in Lake Ontario, just off the Burlington Bay James N. Allan Skyway. The site is zoned and site plan approved for a three-storey, 10-unit townhouse development. Century 21 First Canadian Kingwell Realty has the listing.
The proposed townhouses, designed by Cynthia Zahoruk Architect, are intended to be high-end builds. Each measures more than 2,000 sq ft and includes a driveway and an 800 sq ft rooftop terrace.
The site – an assemblage of four properties – is in a prime location, on the border of Hamilton and Burlington. It offers waterfront views that extend to the Toronto skyline.
The property has nearly immediate access to Queen Elizabeth Way and is 5 km from the Mapleview Shopping Centre, 3 km from Joseph Brant Hospital and 7 km from the Burlington GO station.
Several builders have expressed interest in the site, and offers are being reviewed on a rolling basis.
