SEKISUI House Australia has decided to put one of the largest undeveloped sites in Sydney’s South Western Growth Centre on the market.
CB Richard Ellis has been appointed to sell the land holding located in Catherine Field and comprises two lots totaling 40.72 hectares on the corner of Badgally Road and Camden Valley.
Lot 101 is a 29.72 hectare site which is zoned B5 Business Development Lands whilst Lot 102 has a site area of 11 hectares and is zoned R1 Residential.
CBRE’s Mick Ferreri, Peter Vines, Jason Edge and Frank Oliveri will steer the Expressions of Interest on behalf of Sekisui House Australia, a subsidiary of Japan’s leading home builder of the same name which recently purchased the contract housing division of AV Jennings. The campaign will close Thursday 21st October 2010 at 4pm.
Vines said the site would appeal to a wide range of purchasers as the lots were being offered separately or as a whole.
“The offering will appeal to developers, home builders and private land owners as it is located in one of the most strategic growth areas in south-western Sydney.
“We have already been approached by a number of local and national developers interested in the opportunity to acquire the sites, given the significant potential for both residential and business use,” he added.
Catherine Field is within the local government area of Camden approximately 65km from the Sydney CBD.
It is located within the South Western Growth Centre which is designed to house 300,000 people in the coming years.
