COLLIERS International has successfully negotiated nine leases in Sydney and Parramatta office markets.
The biggest deal was Foodies Pty Ltd which has leased a 790 sqm warehouse for $110/sqm net at 1307 Botany Road, Mascot, from Camerson Brae Pty Ltd. The company has agreed to three years plus a three-year option and was negotiated by William Gathercole, executive of industrial at Colliers International – South Sydney.
Gathercole also negotiated a second deal in the area to One Twenty clothing which has leased a 450 sqm warehouse unit at 25/222 Young Street, Waterloo, from a private investor for $200/sqm gross – on a three year term plus a three-year option.
And in North Sydney, office leasing executive Chris Cordwell signed JDA Software on a three-year lease for 182 sqm for $350/sqm net at level 3, 54 Miller Street, North Sydney, from Investa Property Group.
And in Sydney CBD, national director of office leasing Aaron Weir and director of office leasing John Paek secured financial services firm Dalchristie for a 196.3 sqm space at $695/sqm gross at Suite 2.02, 1 Alfred Street, Sydney, from Valad Fields Trust. The lease term is 10 years.
According to Colliers, the most active market recently was Parramatta where the agency has executed five leasing transactions. Colliers’ Parramatta office leasing executive Shane Ada has been busy.
He has signed Recovery Partners for 20 sqm at $709/sqm gross at 11 The Hereward Highway, Blacktown, from Dowla Nominees. The lease term is for two years.
Ada also secured Training and Development Australia on a three-year lease with a three-year option of $260/sqm gross for 178 sqm at Level 6, Suite 1, 159 Church Street, Parramatta, from Westfield Group.
His second deal for Westfield was a 45 sqm office space leased to Standard Taxation and Accounting Solutions for $260/sqm gross at Level 5, Suite 8, 159 Church Street, Parramatta.
And he negotiated two deals for private investor Louie Wehbe, the first for Baulkham Hills Holroyd Parramatta Migrant Resource Centre to lease 475 sqm for $285/sqm gross at Level 4, 1 Horwood Place — the term is three years and Cartridge Zone for 90 sqm at Shop 3, 1 Horwood Place, Parramatta for $389/sqm gross for two years.
